Engagement Session // Nina & Jonathan
ENGAGEMENT - PHOTOGRAPHY • CONCORD, CA • JUNE 22, 2018
"It's always better when we're together."
I'm finally getting around to sharing these photos. This one is extra special since I personally know the bride and groom to be. The bride is one of my good friends and lets just say we've all been waiting and is so excited for this wedding.
We decided to shoot at one of my favorite parks in the East Bay, the Markham Park in Concord. This park has everything, beautiful trees, a wood bridge, green grass and colorful flowers. We waited around sunset to get that golden hour light and started the session. Nina wore two different flowy dresses and Jon wore button up shirts with slacks. Nina had her hair curled and she just glowed (don't worry, Jon looked dapper too lol)!
These two met where most millenials do, on social media. I still remember the first time Nina introduced Jon. That was ages ago, and now here I am shooting their engagement photos. These two just laughed and giggled the entire time, probably from the nerves of being in front of the camera. They warmed up eventually and began to be more comfortable. If you watch just how they look at each other, you'd smile too. They we're just gleaming of happiness and love. They were sweet and silly too, which made the session so much fun to do. I'm so thankful I was able to do this for them. I am just so happy for them and cannot wait for them to tie the knot in three months. Congrats again!
